A question for all you parents out there:
Did your babies like their swings? If so, when did they start liking them?
I am trying to decide if we should hang on to ours awhile longer. The swing is not one of Amelia's favorite toys. It mostly seems to make her angry.

We never had a swing. I almost bought one, but never caved. I guess that you can probably sell it and if you feel desperate, buy another one on Craigslist.
We never had one either. Oliver loved the one at my parents' house, though. It just depends kid to kid. If they do like them, it tends to be when they're younger, though.
Mine loved the ones that would swing side to side. Front to back seemed to absolutely terrify them. We used them until they started trying to lean out of them- I'm not sure how old they were, but it seemed like we used them quite a while.
My girl didn't like the one that went front to back (cause she couldn't hold herself up in it with all that...swinging...going on), but luckily ours turned for the side-to-side option. LOVED that option. There was a time when all morning naps were taken in it. We got the fisher-price aquarium version and it has been great.
